4/14/2012 - 5/20/2012 LightScapes - Paintings by Misha Martin 6pm-9pm, RioBravoFineArt, 110 N. Broadway, Truth or Consequences This body of work divides itself into 2 halves as I divide my year between the 2 places I love. In the late fall, winter and spring I live in New Mexico and paint the high desert, In the summer when the temperatures soar I retreat to the wilderness area I grew up in just 50 miles from the border of Canada on the Minnesota shore of Lake Superior. Both places have a raw beauty that inspires. From the northern forest and lakes to the desert provide inspiration to paint the landscape endlessly. MM Cost: free.
